This is not a test sampler, and a lot has happened since the release of these questions that could impact what type of question you actually see on the assessment. For example, you will see an earlier post on this blog that contains the pre/post information to show which standards will be assessed. One on the sample questions for 5th grade included a coordinate grid, but you will notice it appears that standard will not actually be assessed according to the draft pre/post document.
Please use this information carefully. The questions are designed to help us get a better idea of the expectations. Don't automatically align your instruction to these questions! Rather, look to see how these questions illustrate the standards. I have found some questions that I didn't think illustrated the standards well. Here is the feedback that I passed along to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction regarding some of the fourth grade questions.
