You will need to register for a free account to access the videos that address 2nd to HS mathematics. These are designed as lesson resources, but the short screen casts can provide helpful insights into the mathematics.

Illustrative Mathematics

The following video is the introduction to a 7 unit sequence of short videos that quickly explain the key fraction concepts students will learn through the common core state standards. Historically the study of fractions has been a challenging topic for students. Sayings like, "yours is not to wonder why, just invert and multiply," highlight the fact that many students have survived fractions by following a process and leaving their questions of how fractions work at the door.
